Just finished dinner not too long ago. Dance was till pretty late today. So yups. Really had no energy in the beginning of dance! Felt so listless the whole of today. Know why? Lol. I'm not saying :p
Anyways, dance was not THAT tiring today. But still pretty on. Had to start from the top over and over again cos Zaki was doing clean-ups. Man. I still have to keep liking the dance and song all the way till Reverie III is over! :) So I shall just bear with it. For another TWO MONTHS! Hehs. Yay!
Gosh the prep talk Zaki had after practice was over made me have jitters all over again. It's like THREE WEEKS to SYF!!! And I think we know for ourselves that we're not yet prepared for it. People are still dropping steps, still not used to the masks, the HUGE stamina problem, the chaos of transitions and accents of the whole dance. Zaki and Ms Wee may say that the dance is taking shape pretty well, but really, like what Nadine said in the afternoon, the way Zaki talks about other schools' progress, it's just scary. And worrying for that matter. SAJC is strong. VJC is hungry to win and is practising super freaking hard. And where do we stand? We must measure up to their standards. Though we're not as strong technically as our seniors who managed to clinge a Gold with Honours, what's important now is that we really do our best.
We better get that UCC stage for an hour! So freaking expensive can! grrr. Perfect example of broad daylight extortion..zzz :p
Anyways, yeah, so basically what Zaki said just now really made me worried. Starting to have jitters for the competition that's in THREE weeks?? Badd... :(
I really hope we'll do fine on that super huge UCC stage! :( We'll so not be used to it lah! That big space.
Even if we try our utmost to kope at least half the hall from volleyball, it's still pretty demanding. Cos the atmosphere will never be the same as UCC. Plus the jitters on that day itself is enough to kill. We can't possibly be messy with our steps and blockings. Argh!! The way Zaki made it sound was really pretty scary. Like how would we manage to watch out for spacings, blockings, overcome our jitters, not bang into each other OR the lights on stage, make sure we're in the centre stage. Blah blah blah. EVERYTHING just on that freaking day when we get 7 mins on stage!
Oh yah! Just maybe our SYF costume will be looking better :) Hehs.
We'll most prob get the outfits next week! Wheee! I can't wait to see it :)
Zaki says it's baggy straight-cut pants. And apparently the top's pretty nice! As in the design. I shall trust him for now. Hehs. To make us sound not that bad. And that we won't be looking like gunnysacks :) Hehs.
OH! And all SYF dancers better start doing more sit-ups or crunches! We may just end up like VJC having to bare tummies. Haha. But it'll look nice! I HOPE. Ahaha :p Jane likes :p Lol. But I really think it'll be quite cool wearing a tube top and dancing. Haha. Nice nice...
Wah. I just realized I really haven't typed a proper proper blog entry like this in a long time. Haha. The past few posts have been quite emo ehs? :p Haha. Feels good to be able to do this again. Used to do it all the time on my previous blog in Secondary School. Oh wells.
I guess sometimes getting listless and emo is quite inevitable lah right? With school being so sian, and so many things to do to meet deadlines yet so little time, plus so many other expectations from everyone. It's a tough world out there. Just gotta face it.
Anyways I'm trying my very best already. Haha. For now. Bear with me for a bit first. While I take some time to get over myself. Lol.
